The problem that I have with this type of reasoning is that no matter how faithful you are, how humble you are, how trusting and accepting you are of the grace of God, the outcome never matters.
If He gives you what you want, he blessed you.
If He lets you starve to the last minute before giving you food, he blessed you.
If He lets you starve to death and never gives you food, he blessed you.
The point of being faithful is pointless if your God is unable to make mistakes. Some of you keep this faith that one day, one day when all your suffering has gone on for too long, God will grace you and reward you for your patience and humility. But if that day never comes, why don’t you get angry at Him? Why would you let your God abuse you, and never bless you? Why do you, despite his abuse, still pray to him like a dog? I admire your unwavering loyalty and commitment to your God, but you could never catch me being so naive and setting aside my own happiness for the worship of a being who only seems to help me when it’s convenient for Him.

Amen brother. He wants to show you there is nothing you can do, that you can do nothing, no such thing as self made man. We need God and his grace and mercy can save us. Brokenness is good. We see that we need God, we need his mercy, we need his love. Give thanks to God in all things, God is good, his love endures forever.
