Even though to me, this was IMO the funniest scene in an already iconicly funny movie, I do agree with other commenters on here that out of all places for that to happen to him, Vegas would be the least one considering all the other weird costumes people wear on a regular basis there. It would make just a tad bit more sense if it was like a group of high school kids who did it!! Lmfao

Van Wayne once ended up shipwrecked on an island like Oliver Queen. Unlike Mr. Queen who was stuck on Lian Yu for years, Van was stranded for five months and started to think he was a pirate named Steve due to isolation-induced madness. It was in that state he was found and spent two weeks in the hospital after getting hit on the head by an errant coconut. Van never spoke of it again.
