Same, I always followed the rule that dark lipsticks are for nighttime so I always wore nude colors. But those rules weren’t made for dark winters, we can wear it in the day without it being too drastic.

Yes i found some tags about personal skin tone then and thank god now i know and it is work! They say my personal being lit after i learn about it😂 even i'm not put full make up on, just a lip stick with berry toned and they think "wow are you put some make up rn?" It takes different fr! I'm a dark winter. I still wear nude lip colors but a few color darker, if that makes any sense. Im more in the light skin color with olive undertone, i wear richer nudes like maple or something with brown + blue

Sooo related, when i was youger i was afraid of bold lipsticks but then i realized the nude ones were not doing any favor for me and i finally embraced my deep bold colors
