I once read this. I have no reference to cite, so use your judgement: broccoli sprouts are one of the most nutritious foods you can eat.

Thank you SO much for posting this! We’ve been wanting to grow sprouts for quite some time but haven’t found thorough information. Your video explains it so well and answered all our questions.

Please note if you’re in warmer climate or well heated house you should really rinse an extra time or two throughout the day to prevent bacteria growth And using filtered water over tap water will give better yields If you must use tap water it should be boiled for 10 mins to cook off any chlorine and cooled completely before use …

I've sprouted broccoli many times. Mine is never as long as the sprouts I've seen others produce. I think it's the specific brand I was using. I'm going to start doing this. And just recently learned that sunflower seeds can be sprouted as well. However from what I've seen the sunflower seeds had been grown by the person who sprouted them. But since I like sunflower seeds and want to grow sunflowers then I'd like to sprout them as well in thw future.

As you’re dumping out the water is there anyway you could save it and use it for another purpose, watering plants maybe? Putting it in the canning pot?
