I love #breastcancerawareness month and all the other specific cancer awareness campaigns. But there is no Cancer Patient Mental Health Awareness Month - something that we all desperately need.

The detection and prevention of cancer is paramount to our respect fights - I'm a stage 4 melanoma patient, and our month is May. However, EVERY cancer patient goes through some mental health trauma - if not a ton - and we need to raise awareness about that.

I'm nominating December (coincidentally my birthday month) for #cancerpatientmentalhealth awareness month.
