I met Vanilla Ice once back stage after a show. He was absolutely humble, friendly and polite. He handed us a bowl of weed and 2 motts apple juice boxes, and then kinda widened the circle to include us in the convo just because me and my husband happened to be standing near him. He started the show that night playing in an utterly empty bar room at a family arcade center called Jillian's on Long Island. Within three songs had the place completely packed out with people that were only initially there to play video games. The show was absolutely sick and the crowd went crazy for him. The whole room was quite literally jumping. Most genuine movie-style slow clap moment I've ever witnessed in real life. It was awesome. 😊

Yo, my girlfriend and I hung out backstage with Rob AKA vanilla Ice in Rohnert Park after his dope concert. He was hella badass and we made front page newspaper picture with him and us. It was awesome. Every time I think about that I get Goosebumps. There's a little more to in the story. When I was a kid I wasn't in a coma for a couple months after I crashed my mountain bike and my mother played his music to be sprayed my favorite cologne around me. I did everything she could to simulate my brain and I woke up and I credited that too. Mr. Rob for saving my life. Thank you Mr. Rob
