Recently, Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman heavily criticized Israel. During an Islamic summit held in Saudi Arabia’s capital, Riyadh - in the presence of Arab and Muslim leaders - Crown Prince Salman accused Israel of wiping out Palestinians. Since the start of the Gaza war, this is the strongest criticism Saudi Arabia has made against Israel. Mr. Salman didn’t stop there. He also condemned Israeli actions in Lebanon and Iran. You might remember that last year, China brokered a deal between Saudi Arabia and Iran, leading to the restoration of diplomatic ties between these long-time rivals. Fast forward to now, Saudi Arabia is seen warning Israel against launching attacks on Iranian soil. The leaders present at the summit agreed that Israel should completely withdraw from the West Bank and Gaza.
