I think you should 100% check out the Jackson js series, all budget guitars that are still super kick ass, my first guitar was a Jackson js22 dinky and it worked out really well for only $200, the guitar sounded well (no heavy feed back cough Harley Benton cough), fret work was nice, came with a tremolo bridge (not a Floyd rose) and stayed in tune decently well. It's a cool line up and it's not very expensive, I would love to hear your opinion on some of these guitars

Give credit where credit is due. Solar guitars are Swedish designed, Indonesian made guitars. Indonesians can build guitars really well, for the price you pay.

Correct me if im wrong, solar started out affordable, but now they are all $1k+ guitars.
