Doesn't have any blindspot lights in the mirrors... are you kidding me!!!
It has a full-blown graphic visual of every vehicle and obstical around the car in LIVE imagery. AND an AI system that will automatically save you from collisions better than a human can ... Blindspot lights in the mirrors HA HA HA HA OK!!
Plus, your wife looks like she's never opened a bonnet im her life.

1. Put your two hands in a triangle shape around the logo of the front trunk to close it. Only takes one try as stated in the manual.
2. They have added Apple Music, Apple Podcasts, TuneIn, and more apps to use instead of just Spotify. Also, the Tesla maps uses Google Maps.
3. They have added blind spot monitoring now through a software update.

I agree to a point with the frunk. While itās not as bad as she demonstrated, you shouldnāt have to strategically place your hands on the hood to gingerly close the frunk in order to avoid denting the hood.
Apple CarPlay is a non issue. The main thing I would use CarPlay for would be maps and Teslaās navigation isnāt just on par, I would say itās superior and necessary with how it plots out the supercharger stops on road trips. Also if you have it navigating to a supercharger it will precondition the battery. Canāt do that with CarPlay. The other thing would be to be able to use Apple Music and Tesla has an app for that so I can stream my music in the car. Even if this was missing, Iād still be able to use Bluetooth to stream my phone through the sound system. Your mileage may vary but other than those two items I have no use for Apple CarPlay. Not to mention, GM is now reportedly dumping Apple CarPlay in future models, so itās going to be available in fewer cars.
As for the blind spot monitor, this has been updated. Now when you put your turn signal on and the video feed pops up on screen you will see a red glow on the side of the feed if there is a vehicle in your blind spot. I find this does the trick nicely if Iām looking to change lanes.
So really much ado about nothing here.

Would you still buy a Tesla Model Y?
