As much as it looks messy, this will seal the end cap. We do it differently in the uk, complete different system of push to fit, rubbers sealed clip systems. If I was getting paid by the metre in your area and had big area to cover I would use this exact method, I would just use less caulk. 😅 Love from the uk! 🇬
