My Church has been making fun of me for holding to key doctrines of the Christian faith. I got laughed at for insisting that Mary was/is a virgin .... by my Priest (Episcopal). I realize it is a gift. It has made me strive to better understand my faith and read the Bible.

I’ve seen someone get baptized who was too scared to give their confession of faith in front of the church. I know many young men too scared to pray when asked to in Bible studies. We have all this comfort, and these people fall to the sin of cowardice; how much worse is it for them when being open about the faith equals persecution of any degree? Then they ask how can they be more bold about sharing the Gospel with coworkers and family. If you can’t even show faith amongst the church, how will you do so amongst the wolves?

Amen. You can see this in different generations growing up differently too. A dad grows up poor has to work hard for everything he gets spends time with family keeps a car for twenty years. He decides his kids won't have to deal with that. So he works hard maintains a good work ethic builds himself up and his kids never have to deal with being poor but get everything they need and a lot that they want scott or nearly Scott free. When those kids grow up they want a new car every year and they have no time for their parents. Generally speaking they are also more lacking in empathy and compassion for others. Forgetting or never knowing love and faith because they never had to worry or struggle or suffer.
