Uranus is the seventh planet from the Sun, and has the third-largest diameter in our solar system. It was the first planet found with the aid of a telescope, Uranus was discovered in 1781 by astronomer William Herschel, although he originally thought it was either a comet or a star.

Cox is so poetic in the way he talks about science. He can make the most ardent science-denier begin to wonder.

I remember as a kid Uranus and Jupiter has small rings around them. Not anything close to Saturns, but they were there. But now you never see them on pictures. I don't know if its a mandala effect thing where I'm misremembering it, or if its a Brontosaurus thing, where new science changed it after I got past the stage in my educate where I learn these things.

-224*C is very close to Absolute Zero, when everything is not moving at all.

If Uranus is that cold, put some damn pants on.

I kind of feel sorry for Uranus. This poor planet has been sitting out there out in the cold depths of space so far from the light of the Sun for over 4 billion years, that's a lonely life for sure.

Funny thing is that all of the gas planets have rings and that Uranus compared the other planets has the least visible ring.
Yet if you look at all of the pictures of the planets almost all of them show that they have rings except for Jupiter.
