Sabes, Virgínia que esse fenômeno acontece nas línguas indoeuropeias em termos gerais, dado que elas possuem a mesma estrutura gramatical, mas as conjugações verbais são diferentes. E no referente a esse ponto, devo adicionar que essa situação é mais evidente nas línguas românicas, pois o inglês e o alemão oferecem modelos de conjugação mais simples dos que as línguas antes mencionadas.
