What would your medication suggestion be for someone who is having a hard time tolerating Keppra due to the rage symptoms? I take Keppra, 1000mg in the morning and 1500mg at night and I take 50mg of vimpat in morning 100mg of vimpat at night. The vimpat is more sedative so it’s seemed to help mellow the Keppra but was just curious if you had any other options you’d suggest so I could bring up to my neurologist. Thank you for all you do.

I had a clear EEG (video monitoring but no flash testing) and MRI, and so was diagnosed with PNES. I think I am also epileptic however. I’ve had events that I can’t explain as anything else other than photosensitive seizures, with aura. Is that possible?

What about seizures with out aura? I use to have an aura as a kid but I don’t as an adult but I still have seizures and there almost never the same.

I have absence generalized seizures. I have auras my heart will beat fast. I have deja view. My legs start jumping. I can stop my seizures. I will lay down cover my eyes and plug my ears I make sure it's dark in my room. I'll take a nap and lay down for a for a few minutes. Then I will feel better. Should I stop my seizures or should I have my seizure?

I don't have auras which can be frustrating as there's no warning before a seizure.
