We do a lot of Tv Wall Mounting
above the fireplace here in Dallas Texas. I will say if that electrical outlet gets either to the right side or left side of this fireplace. It will allow the customer to mount his TV on the right height without that electrical outlet being on the way I have seen it and almost every single new build homes were they put the electrical outlet right in the middle, which is close to the heating exhaust I will say it will be ideal to put it four to the left or right side of the fireplace where it is not on the way of tv wall mount braket

Hey so, technically yes you can use gas or wood in this firebox unit. But you have to remove the gas log- the fake logs, the grate, the sand and pan that disperses the gas, and cap the gas line or add on a gas starter bar for wood, before burning wood. You CANNOT add real wood to the fake log set incase of emergencies where you loose gas. If your friends set this up as wood, and have a gas starter bar hooked up, they cannot just leave gas flowing from the starter bar, and use that as a gas fireplace with the fake logs. they will have to change to the gas log bar. Both cases of misuse will lead to excessive gas soot, and venting issues which means the Co and soot will escape that box.
- im a 5 year gas fireplace technician working out of a big family business if it’s worth anything. Great price it sounds like they got it for at 3.2! Framing looks great 🫡
