He can easily catch you off guard sometimes if you let him call too many girros for help
Like because he is low tier you always think "it's fine I'll just kill him with brute force no need to tactically take down the small boys first" but then he commands them to all attack at the same time and before you know it your paralyzed on the floor with effluvium debuff and he is munching you down paralyzing you again as you try to recover

I really liked Great giros design. Its simple and sleek for an early monster. And the armor you get especially the master rank is one of my faves in world.

MY FAVORITE of the normal monsters unique to World. Not even kidding! Second favorite is Radobaan. Favorite Elder Dragon, Vaal Hazak. I love the rotten vale lol.

I learned his tail was severable after ~300h. But I like him.

My partner really dislikes the Great Girros. She's got a degree in etymology and says that there's no reason for it to have paralytic venom if it is exclusively a detritovore (feeding on corpses). If it were meant for defense, it would just be poisonous, adaptations for venom are extremely energy intensive.
