I went on their website and wrote them a note telling them that people are revolting against them because of their stance. Everyone who watches this should do the same. Only if they hear that their customers are not going to pay top dollar for GMO/GE foods and are going elsewhere, only then they might listen.

Nature gives freely of itself, providing food that is perfect for the human body. Organic food, straight from the earth and elements is the best nutrition and always has been. Monsanto is acting as the middleman between people and food, thus creating an industry that is totally unnecessary, considering that food is provided to us by the Earth naturally for free (with a little cultivation to improve yield). So why do we need these guys (Monsanto)? We don't need chemicals or GMO's at all.

I'm going to call the manager at the local Whole Foods and let them know I won't be going there anymore.

@ZebZachary There's a seed bank in Svalbard, Norway. I recall reading about it a few years ago. You should easily find articles of it.

good to see you again. Im sorry to say that in my opinion things have gone so far that short of a revolt nothing is going to change.

@ArizonaPublic You don't have to NOT send your kids to school if you raise them properly. The fact that so many people who have gone through the system realised what a joke it is is proof. Mark Twain said "I've never let my school interfere with my education."

Despite countless reassurances that no harmful levels of radiation from the Japan nuclear fallout would hit the US from the EPA, the University of Berkley in California is now reporting that rainwater in San Francisco water has now been detected at levels 18,100% above federal drinking water standards.

I recently read an article that Horizon Organic Milk is not really organic.

@TheStreeser1 In many places here it is becoming illegal to sell food from your own garden without buying a very expensive "permit"...I think they don't want us giving the food away either.

The prevalence of farmers should increase. The estimated amount of farmers in the US 60 years ago (approximately) was about 1/3 of the US population...now it's about 1.5%...this is the problem.

Question are other countries obsessed with organic foods?? U.S. corporations will bow down to greed every time. Every time? Every single time.

When companies start getting bigger, they will always cut corners and try to do things cheaper. I already knew that Whole Foods being a pretty big company, was not 100% organic. I read an article about Whole Foods brand of water was the worse tested among other water brands names. All I can say is support your local farms and not big companies that only concentrate on making $. I know countries in Europe(like Ireland) are mainly organic(grassfed beef, raw milk, eggs, etc) So the fight isnt over

I just keep reminding myself that I knew it was going to have to get really bad in order to get good again. So once I start thinking along those lines my perception changes and I think, "bring it on!" Let's get this going! Hang in there, my friend! Metta

Having worked in farming and produce world for many years. you might want to look up what your state describes as "organic farm raised". An ordinary person thinks this is no fertilizer , no pesticide, no nothing to raise this produce. Nothing could be further from the truth. Your Pristine Organic Food is grown With Pesticides, Anti-biotics and a ton of fertilizers. Just like normal food. Look up your state definition of what is "organic food and you will see".. RH DSD
