genuinely though, being able to play through old mainline would be cool as it is, but having your file sync up to the stadium games so you could use them instead of the rentals would be amazing

My going theory is that they don’t want to have to make the games compatible with Pokémon Home. Because you know people would demand they be compatible with Home

The main reason is that the games would need to be home compatible and if on nso when that goes down or someone stop paying for it they dont want the server space for the save files and a bigger reason is save states and rewind which would make home capability basically impossible they would need to either sell each one individually on the eshop, as a collection or do remakes of those games

Boycott switch online gameboy and Gameboy advance apps until they add the Mainline games if you don't already have the Nintendo switch+ expansion pack only buy it for the N64 and Genesis and nothing else not downloading the GB and GBA will tell Nintendo we want these mainline games I uninstalled the GB and GBA apps and I wished I didn't waste my time with these apps you should uninstall them if you have them installed already for protesting purposes and not reinstall until they add the Mainline Pokemon games.

Because the Pokémon company is overcome with greed. Think about how the latest Pokémon games have been rushed out the door to ensure they release on time for merch drops. It doesn't matter to them if their pressure causes Game Freak to make terrible games, they want money. They probably want to sell their own separate subscription solely dedicated to Pokémon games.
