Perhaps not on Sunday Mass.
But

For events.
For specific celebrations.

There could definitely be parishes+ communities that play metal.
At / during the service.

An interesting idea would be a monastic community.
There daily prayer regimen.

Once or twice a week it becomes metal.

These could be outreach days.
Days to show a different side of the faith to the youth and to the pubic.

I mean Catholic Christianity was the punk of the Roman empire.

The holy orders popped up as that empire fell.
And in the west traditional values of Christianity are gaining ground.
+ Becoming more centered on the masculine ideal.

The base form of this is.
The warrior monk.
The holy warrior.
The crusader.
Who fought with both faith and skill.

On YouTube there are some interesting battles from the times of the crusades.

These are extremely metal moments.

Also while in the past the crusades have been demonized.
....
Of late it is noted that after the crusades ended.
The jihad from the middle east + Muslim countries significantly dropped.
Not ended just.
Deterrence was felt at least to some degree.
+ The French almost conquered Egypt and had a permanent base for European influence in the Levant.
So.....

Sure metal at mass would be awesome.
Everything in moderation.

Making noise for the lord is the best tradition.
