It’s impressive that they managed to buy new stuff for their soldiers.
As a Swedish soldier I still use the same soft armor that I was issued as a conscript in 1996.

Norway is so good at keeping it real and up to date.

I'm glad the army added "usable in violent conflict" to their usage requirements.

Yea... and the soldiers are probably expected to get these in 2030. Things happen so fast in the military

Hope the home guard will recive these new vest too, but considering the time it takes before changes happen it will probaly take a decade or longer before the home guard gets the new plate vests. While the district task forces will get them quite quickly.

Also i would like to point out that some of these soldiers wearing the plate carrier also uses black or dark combat pants with a camo jacket the reason why they use the black pants has always been puzzling to me. As they seem popular to the task forces.
I got to ask one of those guys why alot of them uses those pants

In my country soldiers especially conscripts are lucky if they get body armour at all

Glad to see another super modular piece of kit added to the arsenal of a military where an office is inevitably going to select ONE usage setup for it, and the guys who actually have to use it are going to be unable to use its modularity to their advantage :/

I will always be infer why countries continue to dump money into designing plate carriers instead of adopting already proven and preferred by most plate carriers (no I’m not talking about the jpc)
