Just use a propane torch and unsweat the joints... Use some emory paper to remove the solder and you can get more #1... But right now #2 is only $0.10-15 less than #1!

If u go to harbor freight and get set of big cable cutters works so much faster will clean brass up as well with it I have cut 4 inch pipe u have to cut it two times no lie amount of time to take u to cut one piece up I’ll have 3 done

I use to replace large HVAC rooftop units w/ crane & worked a deal w/ my local scrap guy. If I called him (had back ups) to take old units off site almost immediately that he had to be there to take it right away. Good for him, good for me as I didn’t have to worry about it just recover the refrigerant and mark it as so. He was always appreciative.
