I have three children ,my oldest son is 38 ,my youngest son is 34 and My Daughter is 30 and I had all three without pain meds my painful labor parts were all less than 5 hours ,even my first .My Drs told me that since I was very active and had been an athlete in school till 18 had a lot to do with that and even my height of 5'10 but I wish I had someone like this anyway ,it would have been fun .I had friends who already had babies but they all had an epidural ,not one person I knew had their Baby without pain meds ,except My Memaw and she had 6 children lol When My first was born ,the nurse at the hospital did try and talk me into having pain medicine and I was confused by that because I thought it's better ,if possible ,to go the other way but I stuck to my guns and he was born without one single push ,the same with my second .But My Daughter ,Lets just say She's been stubborn from the very start lol My youngest son and I had gotten a stomach virus and were both throwing up all night and I ended up throwing up so hard ,I peed my pants ,r so I thought ,my water had never broken before,they did it at the hospital ,so I had no idea what that was like and it was a couple weeks early .When I told my friend what had happen ,a nurse ,she said my water broke .When We got to the hospital ,it took some very long pushes but she got here ,tiny but mighty at 4 Pounds abd 11 ounces but she was fine with a head full of dark curls ,We went home the next day and still ,no more than 5 hours of hard labor lol I'm so blessed and now I have Grandbabies and I'm right there for my children and their children .
