Join me on my solo Everest Base Camp trek without guide without porter and via road from Salleri , as I share a thrilling experience crossing the iconic Hillary Suspension Bridge! In this video, I capture the views of the Dudh Koshi River below, along with the old Hillary Bridge that lies beneath the current structure. While crossing, a sudden halt made it a bit tricky for trekkers on both sides, creating an interesting moment. Along the way, I also share essential tips on how to safely cross this famous suspension bridge to make your trek smoother:

1. Keep your trekking poles in mid-air: Resting your poles on the aluminium rods can cause them to get stuck, leading to potential falls.
2. Let animals pass first: Animals such as yaks and porters often use the bridge, so always allow them to pass first for safety.
3. Tighten your caps : The heavy breeze on the suspension bridge can blow items away, so keep everything secure.
4. Keep your belongings in your pockets: Avoid carrying loose items like phones in your hands or bags. If they fall, it’s nearly impossible to retrieve them.
5. Don't stop on the bridge when trekkers are coming from both sides: It can create difficulties for everyone, so try to keep moving to avoid traffic jams.
Whether you're planning your own Everest Base Camp journey or simply love adventure, this video offers valuable insights into the trek and the challenges of crossing one of the highest suspension bridges in the world!
