The best part of a DQ ice cream cake is the profit made from them. I managed a DQ for years, they were by far our highest profit item, they are cheap to make, at the time about 4 dollars of product and we sold them for $25-$30 depending on how it was decorated. The Blizard cakes were even more by $5-10 depending on their size and only cost about $1 more to make.
