I use mason jars and cover it with neoprene sleeves. Cheaper than a caddy. Wide mouth 8oz or 16oz are ideal for me.
I collect my tea "shake" in a jar labled "pacham" short for "pachamba" which translates to "To see if we get lucky" with the flavor.

I do that same thing whenever I break off some pieces of a cake I have a large glass jar I pour the broken bits and pieces into it's turns into a great blend of all my cakes 👌🔥❤️😋

Why use a clay tea caddy. I just use a zip lock bag.

When the tea cake is almost gone I throw in a specific mylar bag the rest, did this with many sheng puerhs and now I have quite some gramms of a blended sheng puerh which contains almost all the sheng puerhs that I've liked. I haven't tried it yet, but the time will come.
It's been almost a year since im "building" it.
