I do really wish Giants were more integrated into the game. I really feel like there could’ve been some great story lines where you could talk to, or even fight alongside them.

The Giants were MASSIVELY UNDERUTILIZED in Skyrim, having a quest line that would have you performing errands for a Giant Camp that rewards you for helping out would have been AMAZING and it could have even told us more about them!

I once had a glitch where a giant walked passed me, actually RIGHT next to me, and never turned hostile or territorial. He just kinda looked at me curiously as he walked passed. I like to think that giant was canonically just a chill dude :)

I remember one time I was just roaming through Skyrim when I was attacked by a dragon. To my surprise there was a giant running towards me. I drew back my arrow and was about to shoot him but he started fighting the dragon! It was so cool fighting the dragon along side the giant.

I often wish the giants were less territorial. I give them a wide berth just to avoid aggroing them because it feels wrong.

It could be the gas from the geysers that killed it, I think though with all the mammoth bones around that this I a mammoth graveyard, where the giants bring their mammoths to lay to rest as the warm water soothes them as they live out their final moments

I feel bad now, I kinda brushed them off as sub-human, but they grieve like us too, I always used to sneak crit them for their loot. I'm not gonna do that unless my character in lore is a bastard, or they attack me first.

My first playthrough I played an Orc and found this giant and stood by his side. Role played it that the giant appreciated me standing by his side during his mourning. we shared an understanding in silence.

We can see this event before Alduin starts raising dragons. But if we look at the flow of events without the open world sandbox affect then Alduin and/or the nearby named Dragon killed the mammoth before the Dragonborn reached that area.

I was getting killed by some wizards or something and THE GIANT RUNS THERE KILLS THEM ALL AND STARES AT ME AND GOES BACK TO MOURN HIS FRIEND. bro is the ultimate homie.
