As a Thai, it might look delicious but also not quite safe if you eat too much.
The water is not clean and these shrimp live in fresh water, so it contains a lot of parasites.
Many Thai people avoid eating it raw. We cooked it first for safety.
I've eaten them raw sometimes but I could tell, that cooked shrimp are tastier and give you more flavor.
