love hearing politicians saying it's on the builders to make homes more affordable. And yet they never mention the land transfer tax. Which can't be worked into a mortgage. And is 60k on average in Toronto. And they want it up front. Then come the long waits for permits which take forever cause the permits office folks like to leave early at 3:30pm. l speak of all this through extensive experience. l got so fed up with Canada in general l now operate in New York state. One million times easier and cheaper than the bloated governments in Canada. And yet l still live in Toronto. My advise is get what little money you have left from the governments robbing you and get it out of Canada.
