I feel like that leaving things like, oh I don't know, actual jobs off a resume, could shave so much off in terms of how a company views you. It's like any experience that you do have, is completely worthless. "Ugh, sorry I didn't pick my exact career path to your company to work this exact position during this exact time"
Seriously, if you do leave that off, then an employer can either look at you having, let's say 6 years of experience working, or 10 years. If they SEE I have 10 years of experience, they should pay for that 10 years. Why would I want to be a walking 40% discount sign
Why do we have to sell ourselves so damn short for a job nowadays. Companies ask for flexible, but apparently don't want flexible.
I swear, getting with a toxic ex might be better than trying to bow down to the feet of companies these days.

When seeking a manager trainee position, switching careers from retail to the logistics field, all you can do is list your skills/professional summary as a bullet points at the top of the resume then education then work experience even if it's unrelated. If you don't list what some recruiters call "fluff", the ATS won't pick your resume due to not enough key words. Nothing has really changed since the great recession 2008-2015 job market.

This was super helpful. My resume is very similar to the suggestions you listed so I am glad I am on track and will make the minor changes moving forward
