A very good exercise to not force chest. This one helps you find a very small sensation in your face and help it ascend or move up without your entire body moving up as well, just that tiny sound. In that way, your high notes are well balanced and don’t sound shrill or strained. The sensation when you execute a high note with this mechanism is that it feels like you’re sitting on the high note and not under it pushing it out.
This also automatically triggers your lower body muscles to support the movement of the sound and not the throat, which means you’re doing it right.
