Build your inner power with this simple energy exercise! I love using ancient healing methods like Qigong and Reiki throughout the day. I often use techniques that calm me down, but sometimes, I need a boost! This exercise is great before you go into a meeting, meet someone new, or tackle a difficult project.

Stand up tall, feet hip width apart.
.
Inhale, bringing your arms out wide to a T. Visualise gathering strength and vitality from around you, then as you exhale, bring one arm on top of the other, so your palms face one another in front of your heart. Imagine creating a ball of energy between your hands.

Inhale again, opening the arms. Exhale, this time, the other hand on top.

Do several cycles of this breath and movement. Then, end by gathering that ball of powerful energy into the heart. I like to gently rub on my sternum, for extra nervous system conditioning.
