You can’t use a picture taken by a photographer and reproduce it as your own art without permission. There also copyright on art sold online so how is the system allowed to take images as reference without stating where it was sourced from?

I have been trying to figure this out for months. The HIPA thing just added to my fear and so that copyright issue with these.. I am seeing it even more. I am thinking the color bias an even bigger issue and seems they should pay a percentage of the image use like they do on television shows, films, music, etc.

I feel there needs to be rules, regulation and restrictions with any AI Art bots such as if it use others work, the artist should get a percentage of payment. It also sound the program of the AI only understand basic things when it comes to making art. I left DeviantArt in 2018, but learn that DA try the AI Art bot and boy did it back fire!

Not only that, it is stealing art from artists without permission. You can’t take people’s work without permission. It is illegal to do so and it is getting artists very mad. It needs to be stopped.
