I’m a mechanic, if the engine bay is clean, it’s awesome, but if it’s clean but has a grease layer of the cleaning products, it’s the same as if it is dirty.

I get it for a mechanic. (I do all my own mechanic-ing.) but as a retailer I feel they are bringing their car to you to get that way no? They are bringing it to you to have a clean engine and such?

fresh out of high school i started working for a local shop was mostly nice but there was this one Van that came in for some simple stuff but i go to get in the customers car it was knee high filled with trash everywhere but the driver seat it was so stinky and there was ciggarette ash all ove rthe drive side. one of my least favorite customers, i had to hold my breath to pull it into the bay to work on it.
