Ingredients:
Cooked rice - 2 cups
Milk - 1/2 cup
Yogurt - 1/2 cup
Heavy cream - 1/2 cup
Ginger and green chilly paste - 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves - few finely chopped
Cilantro - few sprigs finely chopped
Salt to taste
For tadka:
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
Asafoetida - 1/4 tsp
Oil - 1 tsp
Method:
Pressure cook rice with 1:3 ratio of rice:water. Once cooked, nicely mash it. Add warm milk followed by yogurt and heavy cream. Add ginger and green chilly paste and salt. Mix well.
In a pan, heat oil and add mustard seeds and asafoetida.
Pour the tadka on the yogurt rice. Add curry leaves and cilantro.
Serve with pickle of your choice.
