My Grandfather's Regiment The Royal Winnipeg Rifles were sent to the Trenches in France WW1 with The Canadian Expeditionary Force . They fought at Vimy Ridge and other Battles. He was wounded twice .A bullet wound in His arm , and a more significant wound from a Grenade and He spent weeks in Hospital in England 🇬🇧 before being sent Home to 🇨🇦 Canada.He was 16 when He Enlisted and passed on at around 59 in 1957. So many lost lives on both sides..I was also a Canadian Soldier in 1976,and though I took a lifetime Oath and would hope to if called on to help defend Our Land and Democracy. However,I believe We as Human beings must seek Diplomacy and Peaceful solutions to Confl
