I'm feeling bad today as my service dog got CLGS (canine leproid granuloma syndrome) from wasp stings. [Basically canine leprosy] Very rare and probably underdiagnosed. Thankfully, I do have a great vet. But, alas, it proved resistant to the antibiotics and we had to remove a good portion of his ears and remove several smaller granulomas on the remaining portions of ear and on his face with no guarantees it won't come back.
I needed this today to know I'm not the only one who will go to great lengths for their animals. So, thank you!
Now to pay the bill for that major surgery. Maybe I ought to make a YT channel about my SD. 🤣 The surgery was impressive to observe though, even if I wish it had been any other dog (or not at all)
