🌏 The Journey of Guru Nanak Dev Ji 🙏

In 1500, he embarked on his Divine Mission, traveling 28,000 km across 9+ countries with his Muslim companion, Bhai Mardana.

Known as Udasis, these journeys took him to meet Hindus, Muslims, Buddhists, Sufis, and people of diverse tribes and cultures.

      1️⃣ First Udasi (1500-1506):
Guru Nanak travelled east, through Delhi, Banaras, Assam, and Nanakmatta, emphasizing equality and the oneness of God.

      2️⃣ Second Udasi (1506-1513):
Journeying south to Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Sri Lanka, where he was called Nanakacharya, he spread the message of selfless service.

      3️⃣ Third Udasi (1514-1518):
Heading north to Kashmir, Nepal, Tibet, and Sikkim, Guru Nanak was revered as Nanak Lama, leaving behind sites like Gurdwara Pathar Sahib in Ladakh.

      4️⃣ Fourth Udasi (1519-1521):
Travelling west to Mecca, Medina, Baghdad, and beyond, he was known as Nanak Peer and Val Hind, teaching that God is omnipresent.

      5️⃣ Fifth Udasi (1523-1524):
Within Punjab, he connected with local communities and established Kartarpur Sahib, a model of spiritual and communal life.

      Guru Nanak's Core Teachings

✨ Vand Shhako (Share & Consume): Help those in need and share resources, fostering community and compassion.
✨ Kirat Karo (Work Honestly): Earn a livelihood through honest means, free of exploitation or deceit.
✨ Naam Japo (Recite His Name): Meditate on God to feel His presence and conquer the five thieves: lust, anger, greed, attachment, and ego.

Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder of Sikhism, dedicated his life to spreading the message of love, unity, and spirituality. His teachings transcended boundaries of religion, caste, and culture, offering humanity a path to peace and enlightenment.

Let’s embrace his universal message of love, unity, and selfless service, and strive to make the world a better place.
