I was reflecting on my parenting experience and realized sometimes we as parents feel like we are failing when our children misbehave or when we can’t control their behavior (specially in public)...

Often we think: “If I don’t know how to make my child behave properly, it means that I am a bad parent”

Let me tell you THIS IS NOT TRUE AT ALL!!

Our goal as parents shouldn’t be to control our children’s behavior BUT to control OUR OWN!

Having the skill to keep calm even when our littles are going through big emotions is not easy, (I would even say it is nearly impossible to never lose it with our children).

It requires a lot of practice and self reflection, but if you recognize that there are things you need to change and work you need to do, then you are way ahead!!

That’s the first step!

Keep working on yourself and being a “good parent” will come naturally!
