This is a case of she falls but he falls harder. Fl reincarnated in a novel as Agnes who is the princess of the empire and has strong light powers. she actually dies going to a character event in modern world and her fave character is our ml, kylo, who was more of a side character that was a rival to ogml, Raymond. Kylo ends up dieing in the novel and Agnes is on a mission to save him. In the ognovel our fl and ML HATED each other, mainly because Agnes was a scumbag to Kylo since he was an illegitimate son of a viscount. Ogml is a duke and og Agnes wanted to marry him but the emperor aka her dad was not having it, so he sends Agnes to the black knights where Kylo is the commander. Agnes is happy but Kylo hates the idea, he can't oppose because emperor orders and the emperor tells Kylo that he wants his daughter to "grow up". There is a reason why emperor doesn't like ogml but more on that later. Kylo was originally a mercenary but got scouted to be commander and he took this opportunity because he wanted rise up the ranks to get revenge on his family (all his family treated him like trash). Kylo is intially harsh on fl but softens up over time. Fl is trying to save ml by showing him in a good light since originally he was viewed as a scoundrel (until he died) and ogml was the hero. She's does this by going on missions with ml and using her powers. When she uses her powers she feels lighted head or faints and ml helps her but half of the time she pretends lmao. On ml bday week, on her way the a cafe event she was hosting for fans of kylo lmao, she ends up getting in a accident and when she wakes up she pretends to have forgotten Raymond, ogml. She does this so she can get closer to ml and later appoints him as her knight which is the highest honor for any knight. Ogml can't believe what's happening and tells ml to not delude himself in thinking fl is in love with him. Up to this point ogml didnt like fl so this incident makes OgML kinda obsessed but it does turn into actual love later on. There really isn't a villain but if there were, it would be the fl older brother because alot of the conflicts start because of him trying to get fl and ogml together when fl clearly states she is not into ogml anymore. The reason brother cares so much and them getting together is because it will help him politically but he himself wants to marry for love, hypocrite 🙄. Once ml and fl are both in love ml does want to pursue her but fl doesn't want to be with him because....continue
