I always lay down when I have the option. I never do computer work sitting. Itâs one of the main reasons I stopped going to school. Being forced to sit in a plastic chair thatâs made for children under the age of 10 is not good for any part of your body. I rarely sit. Im either walking or laying down no inbetween.

this is a bad way to represent it in my opinion, blood clots and stuff are a bigger problem with sitting that is a more direct consequence of it, also this isnât really your content itâs just you recording yourself over another guy talking. oh yeah and you are using this as an ad, on top of misrepresenting the issue to be about weight more than health, and stealing content.

About 10 years ago I told one of my employees that sitting down all day is bad for you. He took a big drag from his cigarette and said âoh yeah, if sitting down is bad for you then whyâd people invent chairs?â When I first got the Giboard, I immediately saw its potential to train my balance, but I didnât realize how much simply keeping it next to me would encourage small breaks for movement throughout the day. Once I realized how easily it could fit in my backpack, I started bringing it to get work done at the park. Iâm doing more work at a computer screen than I ever have before, but even though Iâm not working with my hands, Iâm able to avoid being sedentary, and my phone is a hotspot so I'm actually getting more time in nature. One of the silver linings of the pandemic was teaching us that we donât actually need to go into the office every day. The parks are still completely empty on weekdays though. I chopped up this audio from the âSitting Diseaseâ video on Mayo Clinic YT. The Giboard and TFL Rider backpack are a perfect combo. They have been provided to me for free and I earn a commission if you buy the Giboard with my 10% discount code JAKELEARY10 at www.giboardus.com/ or buying the backpack through this link: collabs.shop/jpbcgk
