This is what happened in phillipines. They were given so much aid funds to develop the nation and Marcos and his wife stole so much. I was so stunned when their son was recently elected because people can last remember times being good and everyone having jobs when Ferdinand Marcos was in power. The phillipines should have an economy equal to or better than Japan right now. I dont even understand how the people didn't tell their children their history.
