Milkpaint is extremely durable as it is essentially recarbonizes back to hard stone. Incredibly easy to surround yourself with an olde world fresco feel in minutes. . Due to the main ingredient, Limestone, its alkalinity naturally inhibits bacteria, mould and mildew growth. This ideal trait was perfect for inside barns where rough walls littered with dust harbouring bacteria etc. 😄Fun Fact This was also referred to as whitewash and sometimes wheat flour, could also be used as a binder instead of milk protein. . .
