I think that the store manager should have been fired from the store by the owner

That's illegal & wage theft, of course. And worse bc she was a minor. Minors can't work past certain times & hours in different states.

My father was also a leprechaun, but he was also an Airforce mechanic, you dont want to know what he would have done to anybody that would make his daughter cry.

This is a long one and one of the good ones I have about my mother (r.i.p. mom as of over a year ago). I met this guy at one of my friends parties. We're all a big bunch of nerds so it's not like it was anything super crazy. My friend spent the night chatting this guy up to me so when he asked to get coffee I said sure. After that he proceeded to guilt trip me and force me on a few more dates. He had an extremely explosive temper every time. Finally after crying in the house my mom saw me and told me just to cut the shit loose and flush it already. She would say a turd is a turd just flush it already. Now this guy was a part of some of my mother's music groups and would talk about the issues that this could cause if I wouldn't go on the dates with him. I did what she said and I told him to pound sand. This is the backstory of my mother being an absolute beast. During their next rehearsal he got up in front of everyone and demanded that my mother fix our relationship. Mind you we had been 5 dates and all but the first one I was forced into, sometimes with him showing up to the house and making a scene in front of the neighbors. My mother without skipping a beat calmly looked at him and said. You've met my daughter, do you really think I have any control over her. Do you not understand what the word no means? Why are you trying to force my daughter into some form of a relationship after she has said no? She is an adult and can make up her own mind, and it sounds well made up to me. He spent the rest of the day explaining to the entire music group that it wasn't what it sounded like. Since most of the music groups in the town were closely knit together and many of them have watched me grow up throughout the years, he was slowly ostracized from most of them. When my mother did come home that day she was mad and my dad had to explain it. Apparently the guy didn't talk to my father who was also part of the music group because he was too busy laughing at him for thinking my mother would back him up. She stayed professional and calm the entire time well he ended up having multiple tantrums in front of everyone. From the sounds of it he did a great job at proving how wonderful he was. I've been told by friends he still wonders why we never worked out. The man even had the audacity to show up at my mother's funeral just to finally be told by someone how much she hated him😂

God that reminds me of my mother chewing out one of my shift managers for the same reason. He had a full scale Code Brown before she was done with him.

Height has nothing to do with being a stellar dad.

I worked in retail, they dropped the 3rd shift who cleaned and stocked and made us 2nd shift kids stay until everything was cleaned and stocked. Store closed at 10, one night it was ten of 12, my dad came and banged on the locked door. When the manager opened the door and started to explain that we weren't done cleaning. My dad looked at him and said, "your 2nd shift is made up of minors, it's almost midnight, they can't work after 11pm if you don't release them I will call Children and Youth Services and you won't be a manager anymore, so what's it's going to be." We never stayed after 11p after that, plus the main manager called my dad, never found out what they talked about but things changed at work after that.

As an employee she is only required to stay until her shift is over, afterwards, she is no longer being paid for her services and has no obligation to stay behind or work for him.

The most badass thing my dad ever did. Was my mom had a best friend that was being abused by her husband. One night she came to our house with her children because he had beaten her so bad. Then he turned on the little girls. He ended up coming to our house with a gun in the middle of the night and let's just say that my dad met him with the same energy and she no longer had to worry about him hitting her or the girls ever again! My dad rocked!!!! My dad also used to be a police officer before I was born and he left the 4th because of corruption and my mom used to work for the CIA. THEN they adopted me and moved to the backwoods Pennsylvania. But that's a story for another time because there was some really weird stuff that happened in my childhood.
