My Dad served in the forgotten War. He Only talked about it Once. He was the lead vehicle in a column and they were driving through a village. He rounded a corner, and an old lady was crossing the road. He broke up and started to cry and couldn't finish what happened. This was over 40+ years After the incident! The story explained a LOT of the reasons, he had problems throughout his life.

My great grandpa passed away recently he served a couple tours including Korea and i still remember the stories he told.

Whenever I see a night image of the ROK showing all the lights in that free country compared to the darkness of North Korea, I think of the sacrifices made by brave men like this who fought and died to make it so. It honestly humbles me.

Thank you sir for your sacrifice, for answering your countries call and not shirking your duty. My father was there also and I followed in his footsteps 35 years later. I know your sacrifice was not in vain. I am so relieved someone is helping you tell your story. Very soon there will be no WWII vets left to share their story and we will only be left with the forgotten heros of Korea and the heroes denied of Vietnam. I pray that young people listen to your words and look beyond the horror of war to the gift of a future of hope and liberty the South Koreans do possess.
