All these Soviet buildings have their own story, from when they were built to their unique features. Almost every Soviet leader tried to solve the housing issue, that’s why these building are named after the leaders that built them: Stalinka, Khrushevka, Brezhnevka. I'll explain how they are different and the story behind each of them.

Also Finland is full of these "Stalinkas", "Khrushchevkas", "Brezhnevkas" and modern blocks even we weren't part of Soviet Union. But I've heard a story that both, Russians and Finnish people takes examples from each other if something is proven practical.

Деревянные, кирпичные, с гаражами, садами и огородами. Я выросла в огромном доме, который мой прадедушка построил после войны на месте старого, который разбомбили фашисты. Я росла не только с мамой и папой, но с четырьмя поколениями семьи. И мне всегда было с кем поиграть - моя самая младшая тетя была чуть старше меня, а еще двоюродные (кузины). А в квартиру мы переехали просто потому, что папе на работе дали ордер на нее. Я бы хотела жить и дальше в собственном доме с садом и огородом.

Very similar looking situation to the UK except perhaps on a generally grander scale. The older buildings have a lot more craftsmanship, quality and detail in their construction the newer the building the larger the interest in cost reduction.
Having said that, the blocks in construction in this video look super modern and well considered visually. Thanks for the insight Eli, ❤ from England

In australia, if you don't own your own home? (Something that is out of most peoples price rage) You have to rent at huge expense, or live in social housing, or a tent. I'd prefer the tent, except they dont want you to camp anywhere at all..
