He was my favorite on The Big Valley as a little kid in the early 70s.
And then the 6 Million dollar Man. I was like 7 y o in 1977. Same year Star Wars came out in the theaters. Smokey and the Bandit. Jaws...
I had the 16" Steve Austin action figure. He had the red track suit. It had a small magnifying glass for his right eye.
And if you push in his back he would lift up an engine block. 💪
BJ and the Bear was cool, too.
He's the best. He personified "COOL" 😎

My favorite Western of the 1960s which I still watch and repeats and on video. It's also available on YouTube. The older gentleman who played the gunfighter is James Whitmore whose son James Whitmore Jr play the screw up cop Terwilliger in the hunter TV series with Fred Dryer.

The Big Valley was one of my favorite shows. Everyone of the actors was unique in their own way, but Lee Majors was the 6 million dollar man.
