Isn’t solar imaging wonderful? We get to see the surface of a star, in real time, from the back garden. The view is always changing as flares and prominences build up and die back. And with amateur equipment we get to see these sights first hand!

Of course, you need a solar telescope and optionally a camera to enjoy the view. Definitely don’t try this without the appropriate solar filters.

Equipment:
Scope: Lunt 60mm
Camera: Player One Saturn M
Mount: AZEQ6
x2 barlow

Software
Capture: FireCapture
Stacking: AutoStakkert
Sharpening: ImPPG

Great Timelapse’s! Do you know of a tutorial for the is? For instance, how long is each frame and how long is the total Timelapse?
