Just as nothing had ever happened between Russia and Ukraine before 24 February 2022, nor between Israel and Palestine before 7 October 2023, clearly in this case too the "mainstream" information avoids any slightest mention of what really caused the reaction of Iran, that is, the cold attack by Israel on the Iranian embassy in Damascus, which caused 8 victims among the staff and which - I would like to remind you - is equivalent to a direct attack against Iran, as the embassies are sovereign of the country to which they belong. Instead they invariably talk about "Iran's attack on Israel", making everything seem as if yesterday evening, suddenly, the Iranian leaders had left the table with gastritis and had decided to launch drones and missiles against Israeli territory because they were in a bad mood. As usual, the tale of the attacked being right and the aggressor being wrong is only valid when the attacked is part of the list of countries liked by the USA/NATO. However, if the aggressor is included in that list, then he is the one who is right. I imagine what would have been said if instead of Israel bombing an Iranian embassy, ​​it had been Russia bombing an embassy of a Western country with the same reasons given by the Israelis. The problem is the ignorance of the majority of the audience, who, knowing nothing about these complex international relations, buy the fairy tales and are fine as they are.
