1 onion, finely chopped
1 cloves garlic, minced
1 inch ginger, minced
250g ground pork
1 tbsp gochujang
1 tbsp chili paste
Salt and pepper, to taste
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp chili flakes
1/2 cup water
1/2 tsp sugar
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
200g tofu, minced
green onion (leeks), chopped
Step-by-Step Procedure:
Prepare Ingredients: Finely chop the onion, garlic, and ginger. Mince the tofu and chop green onion stalks.
Cook Aromatics: In a hot pan, add a little oil. Add chopped onion, garlic, and ginger and cook until fragrant.
Add Ground Pork: Add the ground pork to the pan and cook until browned.
Add Spices and Sauces: Add 1 tbsp gochujang, 1 tbsp chili paste, salt, pepper, paprika, and chili flakes. Stir to coat the pork.
Add Liquid Ingredients: Pour in 1/2 cup water, 1/2 tsp sugar, 1 tbsp soy sauce, and 1 tbsp oyster sauce. Stir well and let the mixture simmer for a few minutes.
Add Tofu and Green Onions: Add minced tofu and chopped green onions, stirring gently to combine.
Add cornstarch and water mixture
Final Simmer: Allow it to simmer for another few minutes until the sauce thickens.
Serve: Transfer to a serving plate and enjoy with rice!
