Amelia bones is one of the best characters in the series. Even though I've got a good taste for evil arcs, if I had been in that situation, anyone, in fact, couldn't have been more brave, not even equal. She was the last vote Harry needed to escape the trial. She was a good woman.

i was thinking mcgonagall too, but i did remember there was a witch we heard that voldemort killed personally when fudge was talking to the prime minister.
i am not a fan of prequels, i prefer a favorite story to move forward, but a short film or some kind of time turner flashback episode of her would be nice since she was obviously so badass and we barely had one interaction with her that i can remember.

I got, Narcissa Malfoy, Molly weasley, Ginny Weasley, then Lily Potter. Amelia Susan Bones NEVER even crossed my mind. She has ONE appearance in the movies and is formidable in fanfiction. But i thought that was because of her job role, not her character development.

Amelia Bonesâs death caught me off guard in the books. We barely knew of her, and yet we knew that she was a frickin BOSS. The fact that Voldemort killed her personally speaks VOLUMES to the threat she posed.
